It really is that simple...if you’re keen on keeping fit or would like to be; there’s no better sport to get involved in than rugby. Rugby tones just about every muscle in your body as well as getting your heart pumping for that all important fat burning result!
Cooke Women’s Rugby Club is competitive and sociable so you’ll fit right in whether you want to progress as a player and develop your skills or just meet some friendly faces and have a few laughs.
Furthermore you do not need to have any experience of rugby or even knowledge of the game as we have knowledgeable and welcoming coaches waiting to encourage and expand your interest and skills.
Modern rugby is a game of common sense and aptitude as appose to brawl. Therefore, don’t be afraid to do something different and come give Women’s rugby a try!

Cooke juniors
At Cooke we encourage players of all ages and have a very successful U18 team. The girls recently won the Ulster Touch league and are hoping to soon progress onto contact.
We endorse an extremely friendly and positive training environment by placing a strong emphasis on having fun and being sociable as well as learning new and noteworthy skills and facts about rugby, conditioning and general fitness. We would like to help the youth of today progress to become the provincial and international players of tomorrow.

Cooke seniors
The senior squad also consists of a wide range of ability and age and we encourage both brand new and season players.
We are the Current Carrick Sevens, Lombard Ladies Champions and also won the Women’s Rugby Extravaganza Tournament. The team also came third runner up in the highly prestigious Bonneville International Tournament held in France.
