At Cooke Rugby Football Club for close to 100 years, we have been developing rugby within the greater Belfast area at all levels from mini, youth, women’s and senior rugby.   In fact, our mini rugby section was recognised as one of the most successful mini rugby sections in the whole of the UK.  At this moment, we are a very progressive rugby club, with superb facilities at Shaw’s Bridge that were used and commended during the IRB U19 Rugby World Cup in 2007. 

Cooke 1^st XV are currently competing in All Ireland Qualifying League 1 and over the past three years can pride themselves in Winning the Junior Cup and McCrea Cup in 2006/2007, the McCrea Cup in 2007/2008, the McCrea Cup in 2008/2009, and Runners Up in the Junior Cup 2008/2009.  In addition to these achievements in 2008/2009 they have finished in third position in the All Ireland Qualifying League 1

In order to help continue this development at all levels within the club, we are looking for support from both individuals and local businesses to form partnerships within the club.  Supporting Cooke will certainly help raise the profile of your organisation to a wide audience throughout the whole of Northern Ireland and also the Republic of Ireland.  To individuals, you have the opportunity of being made welcome and enjoy the social side of club rugby, which Cooke prides itself in.

Below illustrates a number of sponsorship opportunities available to both individuals and for businesses looking to take advantage of a partnership with Cooke.  As the Centenary year for Cooke RFC is 2010 it has been decided that the main sponsorship packages will run for a two-year period commencing in August 2009 and finishing in May 2011 thus allowing maximum publicity and opportunities for our sponsors throughout the Centenary Year.

1 Advertising Boards (3 year contract)   
   

Benefits include:

·   Exposure throughout the season including occasional television coverage

·   Costs include provision and installation of boards for a period of 3 years

·   Your name will be placed on the “Friends of Cooke” plaque that will be visible to all visitors to Shaws Bridge, and will be included on the “Friends of Cooke” in the match program.

2 Equipment Sponsor (Annual)                                       

Benefits include:

·   Options to place logos on equipment i.e. Tackle Bags and Post Protectors

·   Invite to a Cooke pre match corporate lunch (six persons)

·   Membership of Cooke RFC

·   The facility to apply for and purchase Ireland International tickets

·   Access to Cooke facilities including meetings rooms and gym

·   Your name will be placed on the “Friends of Cooke” plaque that will be visible to all visitors to Shaws Bridge, and will be included on the “Friends of Cooke” in the match program.

3 Transport Sponsor (Annual)

4 Rugby Balls Sponsor (Annual)                 

Benefits include:

·   Option to place company logos on balls

·   Exposure September to April

·   The facility to apply for and purchase Ireland International tickets

·   Access to Cooke facilities including meetings rooms and gym

·   Your name will be placed on the “Friends of Cooke” plaque that will be visible to all visitors to Shaws Bridge, and will be included on the “Friends of Cooke” in the match program.

5 Pre Match Hospitality                

This offers an ideal marketing opportunity to any companies wishing to promote brand awareness.

Each sponsored player from the 1^st XV squad will be profiled in a match programme during the 2009 - 2010 season.

8 Match Ball Sponsorship        

Benefits include:

·   Have yourself or a member of your business photographed presenting the match ball to the Captain of Cooke 1^st XV which can be used by your company for promotional material.

9 500 Club Membership           

Benefits include:

·   Opportunity to win cash prizes up to £2,000 with a draw being held quarterly.
